Oxford University Hospitals

OUH is the deanery's tertiary unit. It comprises a number of hospitals, of which there are 3 that O+G trainees go to. At OUH trainees can expect to see tertiary level specialist obstetric and gynaecological services including obstetric medicine (silver star), fetal medicine, endometriosis, gynaecological oncology, fertility, urogynaecology and more. It has a busy delivery suite and you will see the full range of acute obstetrics and gynaecology here.

John Radcliffe Hospital

The acute hospital for obstetrics and gynaecology, most working time is spent here. On call shifts for both obstetrics and gynaecology take place here along with outpatient clinics and elective operating. This is a large maternity unit with specialist care in fetal medicine. maternal medicine (silver star) and abnormally invasive placenta.

Churchill Hospital

Located near the John Radcliffe hospital, the Churchill hospital is where gynae oncology operating and clinics take place. 

Horton General Hospital

This hospital is located in Banbury. Trainees come here for antenatal clinic and elective gynaecology theatre lists. There is also outpatient hysteroscopy and EPAU.
